FNA
|
Participation in the Flora of North America (FNA) project is an integral part of the Institute's long-term research programs. Initiated by Hunt Institute and the Missouri Botanical Garden this collaborative endeavor is has been undertaken by a consortium of 30 institutions and hundreds of botanists in the United States and Canada. |

History |
As an international center for bibliographical research and service in the interests of botany and horticulture we where dedicated in 1961 as the Rachel McMasters Miller Hunt Botanical Library. Our activities had so diversified that our name was changed in 1971 to Hunt Institute for Botanical Documentation. The following links review our heritage and history. |

Exhibitions

The Institute stages exhibitions of works in its collections and exhibitions of works from other institutions and private collections. Every three years it exhibits the International Exhibition of Botanical Art & Illustration. It also has online exhibitions of past gallery exhibitions or published directly on the Web. |
